Hyperstealth is a Canadian company that has recently developed a material that bends light waves around a target that allows for complete invisibility labeled “Quantum Stealth”. The material removes not only your visual, infrared (night vision) and thermal signatures but also the target’s shadow.
This is cool and all but did it occur to you that this is going to make things a lot easier for:
Thing 1: the pictures above are all mockups
Thing 2: Actual footage seems to be wrapped up in NDAs. This makes me think that, even if the tech works as described, that it leaves very detectable patterns if one knows what to look for.
Thing 3: Time to break out the Ultraviolet lighting. Or *gasp* listen.
Thing 4: Personally, I’m more scared of the “Opposable Thumb” tech that the above groups have.
